Senior Farmer’s Market

The River Valley Area Agency on Aging annually holds a Senior Farmers Market in each county. Generally the events are held at the county senior centers with a few exceptions. Seniors are encouraged to pre-register for the event as it will decrease waiting time. There is at least one farmer at each event with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The Seniors are allowed to ‘purchase’ up to $20 of produce with a voucher provided by USDA. For more information please contact Franetta Miles at 706-256-2910 or 1-800-615-4379.
NOTE: This voucher is only good at their specific market and cannot be used at any other event or store.
